Jack was ready for Christmas. He was the first to spot the Santa Claus at the mall. He knew the names of all the reindeer by heart and was quite fond of singing Christmas songs. Yes, Jack was ready for Christmas all right, but there was only one small problem. Jack was Jewish.

And so begins, Ho Ho Hanukkah. A light-hearted, humor filled story, which deals with the very real challenges faced by Jewish children and their families during the holiday season. Jack is surrounded by all the fantastic imagery of Christmas and longs to take part in its celebration. To him, the eight nights of Hanukkah pale in comparison. So Jack’s mother and father devise a hilarious yet loving plan to give Jack just what he thinks he wants… Christmas.

About the Author

Anny Simon Beck is a television director and writer specializing in children’s programming. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son who requested to sing, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” in his pre-school Hanukkah pageant. David Matthew Case is a Nice Jewish Boy from Connecticut. He loves Pastrami and Matzoh Ball Soup, and on Christmas, he goes skiing. He now lives in Los Angeles, which according to his Mom, is "too far".
