About the Book

At some point in our all of our lives we question who we are. We have questions about who we will be when we grow up. We trust in the people who we love to help us understand our heritage. This story is about just that. A young caterpillar relies on his friends and family around him to help him understand who he is. In the end, he discovers what life is about and how he develops into a beautiful butterfly. The transitions of life are told in this story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it! This book is dedicated to my son Jacob and my family.

About the Author

MICHAEL D. O’ROURKE lives in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, with his wife and his son. Mike works as a printing press operator and has a passion for art and music. This is his first picture book.
