Pieces of blueware pottery found in the Caribbean, made their way on tall ships from China and Europe hundreds of years ago. This beautifully illustrated book explains how a simple blueware pottery shard found while beachcombing can open up a storybook history.

About the Author

Always thankful to her adopted home: Montserrat, W.I. Her books are a look into the way the Caribbean used to be. The Blue Paint of Heaven helps us remember how small things (chips of broken pottery) are clues into a history, often forgotten.
