His experiences gained from traveling, living and working around the world have become the fountainhead of his writing career. Edwin was born and grew up in Houston, Texas. When he reached the age of seventeen, Ed enlisted in the US Army Air Corps for ‘The Duration plus six months.’ He was assigned to the 13th Air Force, and served for two years in the World War 11 Southeast Asian Theatre. Upon receiving his Professional Degree in Civil Engineering from the University Of Houston, Ed embarked upon engineering and construction assignments that took him to a number of countries on several continents. As Edwin lived and worked in various countries, and traveled extensively in a number of others, he came to realize that he would one day write novels about the events he was experiencing and the people he was meeting.
