About the Book
Nicholas Steiner grew up in the 1950s. From teenage into his mid-twenties he spent summers in Europe and took his first photographs there. This collection of 30 pictures complements those shown in two related, earlier books: (EUROPEANS-VOL 1, and EUROPE IN THE 1950s).
About the Author
The author is a Board Certified internist who practiced in New York City until 1984 when illness necessitated early retirement. An earlier memoir “UNFORESEEN CONSEQUENCES: A Physician’s Personal Triumph over Advanced Melanoma” (Xlibris) relates how cancer affected his professional and personal lives, and the key role played by Traditional Chinese Medicine (herbs) in his “miraculous” recovery. In between writing these memoirs Steiner compiled a narrative based on his (German) grandparents and parents’ lives before, during and after WW II. An avid photographer since age 15, he has published many books of his pictures.
