About the Book

Memphis the cat is nocturnal. This means Memphis sleeps during the day but is awake at night. Memphis the cat’s nocturnal sleeping schedule is the complete opposite of his people family which are awake during the day and asleep at night. The only one who understood that Memphis is nocturnal was his good friend the Squirrel. Memphis and the Squirrel have lots of adventures at night. Oh, if only his family knew what he could do!

About the Author

Jeannine has always had a passion for children and children's books. She is a mother of four and a grandmother to thirteen. Jeannine's family and her rescue cat named Memphis are the inspiration for the characters in the book. Memphis and a golden squirrel were actual friends in the families back yard which inspired the concept of the duo and their adventures.
