About the Book

When I was a little girl, I always had a passion to look my best. It did not matter if I was with friends, family, or at special events. I just wanted to stand out and look good. My parents always wanted the very best for me. My family also inspired me to look further into my future and what I wanted to do as a career. I was convinced by my family, I would be a great fashion consultant. Perhaps, my family was right. However, I decided to take a different career path. To make it in the fashion industry, you need to have connections, you need to network, and it is a cut throat business and very competitive. I felt a little discouraged by doing my research and finding out what it really takes to succeed. I remain strong and continue to think positive. Maybe, one day I will have an opportunity to work in fashion. But for now, I will accept my life just the way it is.

About the Author

Katherina Sheehan is the author of her very first book, Invest Time To Shop Smart. Raised in Kearny, N.J., a high school gradaute with high honors, class of 1992, she now lives in Annandale, N.J. with her husband Raymond Christopher Sheehan. Katherina has gone to college for 3yrs. and graduated from Somerset County Technical Institute in Computer Technology in May 1996. Katherina has always loved school since she was a little girl. Katherina loves to read and learn new things everyday. Katherina continued with school taking several online classes and also has a certificate in Health Studies from Alison.January 15, 2013. After completing my book in the spring of 2011, I didn't get it published right away because I needed to find a publishing company and I needed to be financially stable too. Writing a book is a lot of hard work, but if you put your mind to it, you will. My original idea was for my book to be a song, but instead it turned out to be a book. I am very proud of my work and dedication I have put into this. I am grateful for my talents, my family, friends etc.
