An interesting expression from Claudia’s perspective since it represented the tip of the iceberg not only in regard to what was taking place in coercive, slave labor garment factories all over the world—where human lives were cheaper than dirt and where the corrupt use of substandard materials was common practice—but also what was occurring in quite another context in the mental health (and law enforcement) professions in America today.
