About the Book

This book tells the story of a single mother who is raising a teenage daughter. Stacey’s world is turned upside down and inside out, when she finds out that her daughter Shante’ is pregnant...and in her eighth month!!!!! Now she is faced with being a grandmother, and single Mother at the age of thirty-five. This story will take you through the turn of events that will effect her life, and the life of her family. You will feel disappointment, pain, guilt and finally the joy and happiness that a new life brings.

About the Author

Stephanie is a single mother, grandmother and Brooklyn native. Stephanie has lived the life, knows the game, and gives mad love to all single mothers holding it down. She comes from an artistic family, her grandfather and uncle, both accomplished musicians . . . and her aunt, a well known entertainer, collectively helped inspire her work. Stephanie believes life is a lesson, and will continue writing about life as she lives it.
