About the Book
Most African-Americans are embarrassed when stopped by the police authorities while driving. This phenomenon is known as “driving while Black.” For me, it has not only been “driving while Black,” but “living while Black.”
This work “Getting Over While Living Black” is an attempt to illustrate how it is possible to endure insults, segregation, discrimination and blatant racism without having one’s dignity diminished.
It is my hope that those reading this book will have a fond appreciation of how it is possible for one to get over many obstacles while living Black.
