About the Book

The author is the oldest living member of his family. In an effort to provide to his heirs some information about their ancestors and some detail about his life experiences, he has gathered as much information as possible from his known relatives and added he story of his life and opinions. Gathering and preparing this information has been conducted over a 20 year period; and many of the persons who have provided his source information have passed away before this book has been completed.

It is his hope that one or more of his children or grand children will carry this story forward with a future revision of this book.

About the Author

Frank W. Artusio was born in the roaring 20’s, lived as a child through the Great Depression of the 30’s and was absorbed into World War II in the 40’s. He completed his training as an aviator in the United States Navy shortly before the war ended and continued in the Naval Reserve for another 10 years thereafter. Frank and his wife, Rosemary, were the parents of 10 children and experienced many of he joys and heartbreaks involved in seeing them grow into adults. This included the trauma of having a 19-year-old daughter perish from an accident.
