About the Author

James Heppell-Hughes, formerly a soldier, geologist and precious metals consultant, is now a full-time author and lecturer. He has led an adventurous life exploring for minerals on every continent. For many years his major concern as a writer was the international mining scene -with particular emphasis on gold prospecting and gold investments. In 1998, he won a minor literary prize for fiction in England, which rekindled a youthful ambition to write humorous novels - Eye of Narcissus is his first effort in that genre.
