About the Book

The book is a pseudo journal in verse. The poetic daily entries cover the period from August 22. 2002 to May 31, 2003. Most of the more than 230 entries are topical; they take their inspiration from the endless succession of follies perpetrated by the George W. Bush gang. At the zenith of this historically ill-considered chain of blunders, the United States, population verging on 300,000,000, sent armed forces more than 7,000 miles to attack a tinhorn dictator and his 27,000,000 minions. The launch date was March 19-20, 2003, a moment that nearly five years later lives in increasing infamy.
