About the Author
European-born American, Peter Heine received his early education at private and public schools in various European countries and graduated from high school in Michigan. At the end of WWII he served a tour of duty as an enlisted man in the U.S. Army and worked for American companies in Europe, North Africa, South America, Canada and Japan on a variety of assignments. His career includes fourteen years in the publishing industry, much of it in international management and foreign business development. After leaving the corporate world he operated his own business for sixteen years, and is currently retired. He has written essays, columns, and commentary on public affairs.
