About the Book

Divine Imposture reveals that Jesus is a myth impersonated by St. John the Evangelist, and Judas Iscariot is a pseudonym used to portray St. Paul as a traitor to the cause of Jesus’ family. As documented by the author, the whole drama of Christ is a compilation of elements from the sun-worship, the myth of Mithra, Adonis, Attis, and the Old Testament. LeThan’s work is a candid, informed scholarship, and not a doctrinal polemic. It deserves serious attention from historians, rational scholars, and liberal religious thinkers who want to find out the real existence of Jesus. The author’s rational analysis of the Gospels reveals that the Bible is not a revelation of God but a product of human imposture.
