About the Author

Rita M. Stark is a retired accountant who has been residing in St. Augustine, Florida since 1990. Before coming to America in 1867 as Mr. Robert Stark’s wife she was working for a Swiss travel agency where she was also guiding tours in France, Spain, Italy and Germany. When visiting with the tourists these countries she became familiar not only with their history, but also with the beautiful legends created around the lifestyle in medieval castles and villages that are still alive today. This book is a collection of such legends.
