About the Author
Peter Greene has spent more than three decades in the Franklin Silver Cornet Band trombone section. A graduate of Allegheny College, he teaches English at Franklin Area High School. He can also be found playing jazz with the Bully Hill Brass Band, kayaking on the Allegheny River, and working in local theater. His previous books include Venango Tales and A Good Idea at the Time which collect many of his weekly columns from Venango Newspapers.
