Morocco, 1930 Jean-Michel La Tour is trapped between two worlds during the endgame of a war between French forces and Berber tribes. La Tour- just days ago a legionnaire, now an exile leper. La Tour must convincingly play the role of lord; it becomes difficult at his first sight of Kenza, doubly so when he learns that a legion force, under colonel Rochet and major Mirvais, is en route to attack this citadel. Together, Guardian and “Jilani” and the people must hastily prepare to meet their hours of destiny.
About the Author
Albert Ohayon was born in Morocco, in a Berber village in the Ourika Valley south of Marrakech. At age 10 he and his family moved to Avignon, France. He began to write fiction and poetry. He studied art at Ecole Des Beaux Arts. Albert has always been fascinated by the mixture of Berber, Arab and French influences that helps to define Morocco, and by the splendor of its landscape. In his career, he had worked in fine arts collection, discovering and helping to sell works of several masters. He currently resides in New York City.
