About the Book

Bella was bursting with pride as she prepared for her daughter´s wedding. It was hard for her to imagine being any happier. Little did she know that with the wedding only twenty-four hours away, her world would soon be spiraling out of control after meeting and falling madly in love with a man eighteen years her junior and the nephew of her soon to be son-in-law. About the Author

Born and raised in Louisiana, Alfreda (Spiller) Avognon attended Southern University for a short time before immigrating to Houston, Texas. It wasn't long before she decided to pull up her southern roots and test the waters of Northern California. Once in California the single mother of two made a life for herself and her kids. Today she resides in the San Francisco/Bay Area and enjoys her new role as mother, grandmother and writer.
