About the Book

I would like to give special thanks to the people who made the Publication of this book possible. Mrs Mae W. Brembry is foremost in her constant proding that I should have my Poems published. Then took the initiative, to lead me through the maze of doors; to have it done. Mae! I thank you for not giving—up on me. My Cousin Bernice Preston gave much encouragement to my abilily to write, by having me write poems for special occasion. I love her for it. My Daughter Odessa Rixter (Gibson) Whom I love very much and my Grandsons Jerry and Larry. Provided the fortitude, through their love, for me to carry on. My Son Dante, whom is very much a part of me, is the springboard that launched my desires and efforts to give credit too, the Familys Name. Many Friends and family members gave their support. I would like to mention my life long Friend, Mr Frederick Johnson, who was and is, a Plus in my world.
