About the Book

This book is a reflection of Barbara’s life as she saw it and remembered it. The points of interest that she researched and wrote down were done while she struggled through the most difficult sufferings of her life. Yet, rather than lose the day Our Lord blessed her with, she sat quietly putting together an autobiography for her children’s children, letting them know their roots. Many have the inclination, but few have the tenacity. Barbara was one of the few.

There once was a real person named Barbara Ellen Dorsey Prisco who moved quietly through this portion of the world touching many lives. The people Barbara touched all walked away with a smile on their faces and friendship in their hearts.
