These sixty poems are only a fourth of Robinson’s collection. The comedy will have you laughing, the genuineness will awaken you, and the sensitivity will almost bring you to tears. From domestic violence to birthing a child, from a missing father to crying over love, there are so many topics and so many ways that this creative writer will have you in someone else’s shoes in each page you turn. Some reflect her life, the life of her friends, and the lives of others. Some of these poems may even pertain to you.

About the Author

Lashawnda Robinson is currently a student in Columbus, Ohio. She is majoring in English and her concentration is Journalism. She is a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. Her future plans are to write for a popular magazine company, create scripts for screen plays, write novels, and publish more of her poetry.
