About the Author

After the birth of our twin granddaughters, Ava and Hadley, my husband and I often babysat to give their parents a night out. The big sister, Josie, was then 3-years old. Each night included at least three bedtime-story books before she went to sleep. Eventually I began to create and tell her the story of a little princess who must overcome adversity. Afterwards, at home, I would record each episode in writing. The characters Sydney, Sloane, and Spencer are our other grandchildren. I was encouraged by my son to publish my bedtime story for others to enjoy. It is my hope that all parents and grandparents who read this fairy tale will share a special experience with their own children and grandchildren.
