About the Book
Life’s hard enough as it is, but to suddenly find yourself at the mercy of a cliché is downright cruel. It happened to my wife and me. Our cliché was a Midlife Crisis. And it was cruel. But we fought back.
In early 2000, we quit our jobs and sold our house in Central Ohio and hit the road, a couple of better-late-than-never beatniks embarking upon a life as Gypsy Innkeepers. Eight years and thirteen properties later, we haven’t necessarily assuaged the cliché, but we’ve had a hell of a time.
This is the beginning of our journey…
