About the Book
Ronii Rogers realized 18 years ago that her story
needed to be told, and the wheels began to turn
once given the vision and framework to write
this book. Oh! Jesus, Help Me Over the Hump
of My Rainbow is a book of inspiring and
revealing stories from various seasons of Ronii’s life; using paradigms of rainbow colors—described as 4 roads—to paint a poignant picture of growth and reflection from her childhood, to being a single parent three times over, right on up to being a proud grandmother of six precious little darlings.
As a single mother of one daughter and two sons, Ronii is living proof that one can overcome insurmountable odds that can come your way. She shares experiences from her life that run the gamut of rape, abuse, rejection, depression, promiscuity, dishonesty, and despair. While raising her three children, she successfully navigated her way through numerous setbacks and adversities that confronted her as a single parent. But through all the Oh! Jesus moments of her cataclysmic but inspiring life, God was always there watching her steps, covering all her disorder with His grace, yet steering her back to Him and victoriously taking her to the Other Side of Through.
Ronii is the younger of two daughters in her family. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and educated in the Baltimore City public school
system by dedicated, God-fearing teachers who made sure she received a quality education. Ronii went on to graduate from the School of Hard
Knocks, earning a PhD in Faith, Wisdom and Child Rearing. Reading Ronii’s story will take you on a journey to hear and appreciate her messages
of conviction, bad choices, faith, and deliverance.
Many friends and professional colleagues refer to Ronii as an insightful spirit who sees things others are not able to envision about themselves;
she’s an exhorter, a motivator, a counselor and a sage. No doubt, readers will laugh, cry, and cheer after grasping the true meaning behind
Ronii’s rainbow; her story just might help you over your rainbow if you ever get stuck.
