Lets face it life can be tough stuff at times. Life throws us twist and turns that leaves us feeling distressed and hopeless. The valleys of life do not discriminate. The storms of life do not skip color, social status, or religion. There is hope. As we walk through our valley of doubt and frustration know God walks right alongside us. He cares for us too much to leave us alone in the valley. Down in the Valley hopes to challenge, inspire, and motivate us to keep walking through our valleys. No matter what despair you are facing God is able to bring you through.

DEREK J. LEWIS is pastor of New Victory Praise Baptist Church in Balch Springs, TX. Derek career started out in the financial service industry. He received his bachelor of business administration from University of Central Arkansas and MBA from University of Phoenix. Derek has a burning passion to teach God’s word with simplicity so that all who desire to know God can receive him. Derek is an author, teacher and conference speaker.
