This is a collection of short stories that are fiction. Any names used are coincidental and are only used as part of the stories of the book. I started writing poems and song lyrics when I was seventeen and writing short stories since 1997 right after my first husband passed away. I wrote a song for him about the coal mines as he worked in the old coal mines years ago. He had tears in his eyes when he heard the song as it came out about a week before he passed on. He ask me to never give up my writing. I have three grown children of my own one son and two daughters and two step sons from my new marriage now. I intend to keep writing songs and short stories as long as I can write. I enjoy writing things and hope that I write something that people will like and read. I have won a few awards for some of my poems that I've written. Had two songs published by an Indi label years back.
