About the Author

Shevonica Mablecia Howell is a proud mother of two, and she has resided in the northern part of Florida for most of her life. She earned her undergraduate degree from Jones College in 1996 and her graduate degree from the University of Phoenix in 2010. A jack-of-all-trades, Ms. Howell has excelled in many positions in her twenty-plus years in the business arena. She is a licensed motivational speaker and math tutor and not only has she had the pleasure of nurturing students as an educator and mentor since 1997 but she has also served our country as a specialist enlisted in the United States Army. Ms. Howell’s ultimate goals are to market her teaching strategies, “You Teach It,” to school districts and tutoring firms around the world, which focuses on students’ confidence and achievement, as well as opening her own private school within the next decade.
