At the end of the novel, THE MURDER OF BRANDYWINE OUTHGATE, Randall Dixson and Elizabeth Adams are left with a number of unanswered questions. Can Rand forget the deep love he developed for Brandywine, a woman he never should have known let alone developed a commitment to her which threatens his relationship with Liz? Can Liz forget sitting in Rand’s apartment hearing deep words of love spoken not to her but about another woman? Can the love which Rand and Liz share be saved? Is their commitment to each other strong enough to withstand the insecurities these other questions have formed? These questions are answered in the novella, ELIZABETH, which follows Rand and Liz as they redevelop their relationship and find that the love they share has deepened and become more intense because of these earlier trials. And, can that love survive when Liz finds a lump in her breast which sends her through the processes which ultimately lead to a radical mastectomy, and the chemo and radiation treatments which follow. ELIZABETH takes you through this and displays the courage needed to fight this horrid disease, and can Rand find it within himself to be at Liz’s side to support her?
