About the Book
AS I SEE IT is a compilation of some of Joseph Nettis’s varied works as a professional photographer and writer. In half of the book Nettis looks back at his earlier years as a photojournalist who possessed an insatiable thirst for travel and writing. The countries he describes and illustrates here are England, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, India and Japan. Invariably, he is interested in ordinary people and how they live their lives. Also included are some of Nettis’s other writings. They range from outlandish humor pierces to engaging short stories to touching observations that accompany his travel photographs.
