About the Author
Albert Rodrigues was born in the Republic of Guyana in 1959. At a very early stage in his life he gravitated towards various religious concepts and teachings, simultaneously maintaining a strong interest in philosophy, natural science and the arts. At the age of thirty-nine, after nine months of intense internal conflict regarding his religious inclinations, fears and conformities imposed by society, he arrived at a realization of his true consciousness. “The Observer-Through the Eyes of Innocence”- explores some of this transcendental experience and intends not to impose personal biases, but to provoke a more concentrated, critical look at some fundamental concepts regarding religion, politics, and morality that we traditionally cherish without much thought. In addition, it examines how fear, in various forms, contributes to our apathy and misguided beliefs and actions, which in turn prevent us from living fuller and more meaningful lives. Albert Rodrigues is also the author of “Insights- Beyond the Abyss of Fear”, published in 2004.
