A Memory Between the Hills

About the Book

My first novel, A Memory Between the Hills,is about the lives of students attending a prestigious private high school in southern Vermont. During the story, the lives of two teenage twin brothers change drastically when they move to Vermont from New York to attend the school. The two teens are very different, one is outgoing and friendly, the other is quiet and reserved. They are immediately accepted into the new surroundings of the school and make friends very easily. Yet, the boys interact differently with the same students they meet. As the story begins to unfold, certain troubles occur between the students of the school regarding their friends and academic life. Startling events occur between the brothers that turn them into almost rivals. It continues until a certain event takes place that changes the lives of the students and the way they see each other as friends, forever. During the story, the students realize they have a stronger bond than they had ever thought.
