About the Author
Thomas Hoffman was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 3, 1950. He grew up in Northern California and attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he earned a BA in Sociology. He moved to the Los Angeles area in 1975 where he worked in the scrap metal business before founding his own company, Compton Trading in 1993. He is married with one son and currently resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
