About the Book

A Child Shall Lead Them is about a girl of ten years old who wants to present a Mother’s Day pillow to her mother at a Parent-Teacher Conference activity. Her mother promises that she would be home on time to attend but something comes up at work and she can’t make it. Her mother feels awful about disappointing her daughter and writes her a letter asking for forgiveness for her and any other parent who has ever disappointed their child. The letter was created to make parents mindful that like adults, children are people with the same feelings and emotions that should be honored and respected. The poem the child writes is Love in its truest form. It is from the “mouth of babes”.
