About the Author

John Ornellas is a California Native who received his BS degree from San Jose State University where he also studied creative writing, and made up children‛s stories for the preschool where he worked. After college John began working on novels, short stories and screenplays. It was after the birth of his 1st daughter when he knew that it was time to return to children‛s writing and share the real life adventures of Harvey. John now lives in Marin California; with his wife and three daughters. Together they live an active outdoors life; walking and biking through town and remembering that life is full of magic that can be seen if we only remember to look for it.
