About the Author
Father Leo Arrowsmith is a priest/iconographer. Since 1996, he has been Rector of the Saint Innocent Orthodox Church in Livermore, California, whose walls and Iconostasis support more than fifty icons written (painted) by Father Leo. Anna Gordon Pope is a fine artist, calligrapher and painter of illuminated manuscripts. She lives in Livermore, California with her daughter, and among her many interests, designs and creates unique custom jewelry. Vera Gordeev Lowdermilk is an artist in the San Francisco Bay area, where she has painted many large scale murals, as well as portraits and illustrations. Her fascination with the art of illumination and icon painting was inspired by the Orthodox Church and Liturgy, which were part of her experience since childhood.
