About the Author

Rachel Tibbetts was born in 1914 in Belfast, Maine. She attended local schools and received degrees from University of Maine Orono, Iowa State and Boston College. She taught school, was a social worker for the State of Maine and New Hampshire and did court mediation for child custody cases. She has a degree and became a family therapist. Since her retirement she relocated to Ocala, Florida and lives there today.
