About the Book

The Bible in a Nutshell is a self-study and teaching manual. It is basic teachings everyone should know. Some scriptures and chapters have been quoted from the Bible. That is because there are Bibles that have watered down the words of God and are placing people in confusion. The writings that have been quoted are key information newly printed Bibles have watered down. The words of the Bible are not to be changed. Some of the information in this manual often repeats itself. That is because this study manual is an attempt to teach the people how commands were fulfi lled (made complete). Moses was a prophet and he wrote the Law. Although there were other prophets, they were not telling Moses what to place in the Law. God told Moses what to place in the Law. Jesus said He did not come to destroy the Law or the prophets, He came to fulfi ll. Each command that was in the Law was talked about or fulfi lled in the New Testament. Studying should begin where the commands were given in the Law, tell what is the Law, tell what is the Bible, and show the commands in the New Testament or show where the commands were abolished. This manual tracks Christ and some commands from the old covenant (the Law) to the New Testament. For example, in the Law it says the priests have to look a certain way and wear certain garments. Some of those commands were not abolished and is fulfi lled in “love the Lord thy God with all our heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” The fi rst four of the Ten Commandments are fulfi lled in that command also. After obtaining an understanding of the commands of God we should walk according to His standards. If we walk any other way we make a mockery of what we stand for. That is being hypocritical. Being hypocritical is being convinced of what is sin but not being converted away from those sins.

About the Author

The author began writting the Bible in a Nutshell in 1998. The writing began with a letter to explain who the Bible says Christ is. A letter to explain in detail how the Law was fulfilled was written later. More letters were written after that. Those letters were written to list the qualifications of bishops, deacons and elders, tell according to scripture qualifications of widows for the church to maintain, list the only church Christ built, and tell kinds of baptisms. The author lists questions to consider before getting married. If the questions are not discussed before marriage they will arise during the marriage. The author lists God's name and memorial for all generations which was taken from the Old Testament. However, in the New Testament, Jesus refers to God as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the living, and our Father in heaven. In the New Testament Jesus did not specifically call God by name. God's name of "I AM" mentioned in the Old Testament has extradinatory meaning. God is and has everything you need.
