About the Book
Inside Erica's Closet, A trip to China, is about a ten year old girl named Erica. Erica has a dream that her bedroom closet, which is full of stuff, turns into a magical place, and she lands in China. As Erica goes throughout her journey at school, and on play dates with friends, what seemed to be a dream soon becomes a reality. As Erica travels to China, she meets a few friends. These friends take good care of her and show her around China. It is a great story for children with an exploratory mind. Although Inside Erica's Closet is a fictitious story, Erica was a real girl, with real hopes, dreams and adventures. Erica was the author's cousin. She died of childhood asthma in 1995. This book represents her spirit and determination.
