Daniel and the Revelation

About the Book

The book of Daniel records major prophecies that will be fulfilled during the time of the book of the Revelation. One such prophecy is given in Daniel 2:44, which foretells the establishment of God’s kingdom of heaven brought down to earth. This event can be studied in Revelation 19:11–20:6. Another of these prophecies is found in Daniel 7:24–25, and its fulfillment is recorded in Revelation 13:1–3. This prophecy speaks of the Roman Empire coming to life again during the tribulation period and, indeed, has already been formed under the name of the European Union. Because of this special relationship between Revelation and Daniel, I have put together the two books in this particular format to expedite and simplify its study.

About the Author

I was born in 1929 in Crenshaw County Alabama, second of five brothers. I attended Rutledge grammar school, Luverne junior high school, and Greenville high school. I married Rosalie Meilert in 1952. We have two sons. This marriage ended in divorce. I Married Mary Ramon in 1981. She has four sons and two daughters. Both of my wives are now with the Lord in heaven. At age 30, I enrolled in Brooks Bible institute in St. Louis, Missouri, where I did two years work, mainly in Bible doctrine. At age 45, I enrolled in Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated this school in 1978. I was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 1973. Since leaving the ministry in 1978, I have taught Bible classes both at home and at my church. Mary and I were members at Friendship Baptist Church in Sarasota, Florida, for many years where I still teach a Bible class.
