About the Book

I reside in Monrovia, California. I was born in Washington DC in 1939. My parents came to the U.S. as immigrants; Mama from Germany and Daddy from France. We moved to Miami, Florida when I was nine. Every year we would go to the Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods New Hampshire for the summer. When I was 18 I went to Barry College and met my Husband Howard. We married and had two children. I have always loved Poetry because of my Mother who opened many worlds to me. My emotions came from my French Father who was what every Father should be. He took care, not only of us, but of his brothers and sisters his entire life. I dedicate this book and others that may follow to them. They were my rocks and I will always love them. Many things are created in a lifetime. Memories are one of the most precious for they can never be taken from you. These are some of my memories and feelings that they created.
