About the Author

ELIZABETH T. BARAN This is her first book for children although she has had a lot of storytelling experience. She has no children of her own but has more than a dozen nieces and nephews as well as their children and grandchildren who have been recipients of her stories. She shares her home in southwestern Pennsylvania with two spoiled Siamese cats. NICK COLESAR a recent graduate of the Pittsburgh Art Institute and ls the author's great nephew.
