About the Book

Barnabas is a chubby, lazy cat who would rather eat Cook’s biscuits than anything else.

He is gentle, and has no interest in harming the ship’s rat, Scat. Besides he exerts too much energy in chasing him. Cook gives Barnabas an ultimatum: Do away with Scat Rat – or no more biscuits!

About the Author

Margaret Anne Jones has eight children and six grand children so far. Margaret Anne, and her husband, Jim, make their home in Clearwater, British Columbia, along with the youngest three children, two cats, two dogs, and three miniature horses. She keeps busy homeschooling, collecting antiques, travelling to horse shows, and visiting her other children. She also has a keen interest in photography, gardening, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. She very much enjoys sharing God’s love and compassion with others. Her real life cat, Barnabas is as silly, and lovable as the Barnabas in Better Than Biscuits.
