About the Book

This story is about a friendly, West African Village, grateful for a mysterious fisherman they do not see, though he provides them with all the fish they need each day. …Until one day a wondering drummer makes the discovery many had hoped for.

About the Author

This story was inspired by the people and Tropical Nature of Togo, West Africa. The American author, also a fine artist, travelled to this part of the world on several occasions. Here, he continued to learn wood sculpture, drummed and visited with friends and was inspired to write/illustrate children’s stories during each journey.
