I have several young children who thoroughly enjoyed the book. The story line was interesting for the children with characters that the children could associate. My oldest son loved the bully "Billy the Stinkbug". The graphics were vivid and exciting for my younger children. This definitely has become a favorite for the children. The children are eagerly anticipating the future adventures of Little Polka Dot.

My children love the characters and the vivid colors in the first book. This book was great for my children ages 2 - 5. The youngest loved the pictures and the story. My oldest loved the characters, especially Billy the Stink Bug. We can't wait until the next adventure.

"This is a wonderful book. I read this book to my 10 year son and then we discussed bullying at his school and what should be done if he is bullied or witness bullying. As a parent, this book is a very good tool to help students understand the seriousness of bullying from two perspectives, that of the bully and that of the person being bullied. The story about Little Polka Dot is for children (and adults) of all ages because if helps the children to realize that just telling a friend that they are being bullied is not enough. For adults, the book helps one to realize that when you group up being bullied, eventually, you may yourself become the bully or continue to be 'bullied' throughout adulthood. Bullying is a very serious issue! I applaud the author in how she took such a serious issue and put it in everyday terms and a beautiful story such that EVERYONE is able to benefit from the story! The book is truly a blessing and means to bring about a conversation with your children! This would also be a wonderful book to read to children during story time at schools and daycares."
