About the Author
Courtney Renee Houston was born on February 24, 1987, from Portsmouth, Ohio. Courtney begin writing at age 13, where she first discovered her gift in writing poetry. In February of 2006, she released her first poetry book entitled "Courtney Houston's Life Through Poetry," which was a book of poems about her life as a teenager, and struggles through her High School years, and about the great people who inspired her. She has released a short novelet entitled "The Ghost That Looked Like Grandma", a book based off the changes she went through after her Grandmother death in February of 2009. Courtney enjoys going to the movies, spending time with her nephews, skateboarding, car shows, and hanging out with her close friends.
