Sharing is often hard to do, but often brings along friendship and fun! Little Monkey loves bananas so much, but he has a very hard time sharing them with the other animals on the island. He is also very lonely and does not have friends like Little Elephant, who shares his food with everyone. Little Elephant teaches Little Monkey that it is better to share with friends. Little Monkey learns that sharing and having friends is more rewarding than not!

About the Author

Ariane N. McEvoy grew up with a love of reading, writing, and art. She has been writing and illustrating stories since childhood and continues to share her love of reading with her four year old daughter, Kayleigh Nicole. Ariane also enjoys writing poetry and has had her poetry published. Ariane works as an Occupational Therapist and Massage Therapist. Working in a school gives her the opportunity to reach out and teach others skills they will use for the rest of their lives. Holistic in nature, she loves being able to create a positive influence surrounding writing, drawing, and reading from a therapeutic aspect and helping children realize their own potential. She lives with her husband and daughter in Natick, Massachusetts
