About the Book

A mature, intelligent, everyday person, Dianne Stewart, has read ”My Life As I Remember It” and ”Time Tested Thinking, As It Seems to Me”. Her succinct observation is: “I think both books are extremely valuable. One is the story of a man, his life, his ups and downs, and his abiding faith in an abiding God, the other, what this man has learned and experienced with that same God”.

About the Author

About the Author David Wilson was born in Kearny NJ, USA February 24, 1922. His father’s business took the family to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when he was 12 years of age. At nineteen he enlisted in the US Navy (after the attack on Pearl Harbor) where he served 3 ½ years in anti-submarine warfare and LSM flotilla 11 during WWII. After the war he graduated from Emmaus Bible School upon completing three years of intensive systematic study of the Bible. He became a pastor of a church, and the director of a children’s summer camp in the Province of Quebec for approximately 10 years. Camp Mini Yo We, a children’s camp, which he had help start in Ontario immediately after the war, became so successful that it required a full time manager. David was offered the opportunity and he accepted. After returning to Toronto and living in Ontario for several years, he became interested in national politics which lead to a senior position in one of the political parties in Ottawa. Other politically related occupations followed. Because of business and personal reasons he has travelled extensively in North America. He has also visited many other parts of the world. He has been exposed to various social environments having lived in three major cities, two small towns and one rural setting He is a widower, the father of four children, the grandfather of four children and the great grandfather of three great grandchildren. In 1968 he moved his residence to Vancouver, BC, where he managed a real estate sales office for many years, combined with a personal program of general volunteer hospital visitation plus participating in the hospice program for the City of Vancouver. At time of writing he has had ninety birthdays. Consequently he has a deep well of broad personal life involvements from which to draw. His experiences encompass, a youth in the years of the great depression, a sailor in WWII, events surrounding a pastor’s life, the tough times as a businessman and compassionate moments in hospice settings. He would like to share, with his readers, the reliability and faithfulness of God throughout the years.
