About the Book

Sydney is back again with another adventure to share with her young readers. In Sydney's Swimming Pool Day, Sydney is excited about several new toys Dad has for her, including a new swimming pool that has a tunnel with a sprinkler spraying water down on her as she rides her raft through the tunnel. Sydney then has Dad put her favorite toy, Pixie Bell, onto a water rocket as she pulls the cord to blast the rocket off in the sky. Sydney watches as the rocket rises higher than the tree tops with Pixie Bell, wondering if it will land safely. At the end of the day, Dad has another surprise for her. What will it be? In this adventure, Sydney enjoys a wonderful day playing with her family.

About the Author

Beau Heidy has been a well-respected personal trainer in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area for over nineteen years. He adopted Sydney in 2002 when she was ten months old, and from that day, Sydney was his constant companion. Every work day for over ten years Sydney followed Beau out the front door to accompany him to the homes of the clients he trained. Sadly, Sydney passed away in February 2012, but her spirit lives on in Beau's series of books. She will not be forgotten. Beau lives in Moscow, Ohio, a small rural town southeast of Cincinnati along the Ohio River. He lives with his wife, Jane, who has worked with him on his books. They have two dogs and five outside cats.
