I receive many calls in my home from people of faith who are grappling with a culture that no longer values Christian principles. It is imperative that every believer has an active prayer life to successfully stand against the wiles of the devil. This prayer book is a collection of prayers that I believe will be helpful in scheduling and keeping your prayer appointments with God. These prayers will inspire and motivate you to spiritual growth and emotional wholeness. Developing an effectual prayer life and consistently reading the Bible will bring you into a deeper and more intimate relationship with our Father God. You learn to recognize and understand His nature, and appreciate the value He has placed on you. As Christians we recognize our dependence upon our Creator. When praying the Word of God we are allowing the Holy Spirit to make the Word a reality in our heart. Each time we pray the Word of God, we fulfill the spiritual man, because it is the Spiritual man that hungers for more of God's Word. The Spiritual man actual thirst for and desires the righteousness of God. Ps 42:1a "As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, 0 God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Matt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
